#EndSARS Takes Another Dimension As Mothers In Port Harcourt Plan Protest

The protest against police brutality has continued to gather momentum across the country.

Mothers in Port Harcourt are also planning their own intervention to save their children from murderers in uniform.

THE WHISTLER gathered that the mothers would also be protesting against injustice and suffering in the country.

The protest, according to Mrs. Florence Innocent, one of the organizers, will hold on Monday, October 19th and the meeting point is the UTC junction along Azikwe Road Port Harcourt.

She said: “We are tired of watching our sons get killed by the cops who are meant to protect them.

“We have decided to come together and stage this protest come tomorrow and nothing will stop us. The SARS must go and our land must be redeemed and cleansed .”she said.

Meanwhile there are indications that youths in the city will be repeating last week’s protest on Tuesday, October 20th which saw thousands pour out into Aba Road and walked through Azikwe Road before occupying the Government House despite a subsisting ban on protests by the state government.
