Even If APC Changes Name From Bitter To Sweet, It’ll Still Be Bitter – Omokri

Former presidential aide and Amazon bestselling author, Reno Omokri, has poked fun at the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) after it changed its slogan from ‘CHANGE’ to ‘PROGRESS’.

Omokri, who is a media aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan, said in a tweet that “Even if you change the name BITTER to SWEET, it will still be bitter.”

Announcing the change of its popular CHANGE mantra at its recently held national convention, the APC had said: “when [we] shout APC, the appropriate response should now be Progress and not Change.”

Meanwhile, the party elected a new National Working Committee (NWC) at the convention where former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, emerged its National Chairman.

Both the APC National Secretary Mai Mala Buni, and its National Publicity Secretary, Abdullahi Boloji, were amongst others re-elected at the convention.
