Evangelist Bamidele Olumilua, a former governor of the old Ondo State, died in the early hours of Thursday at 80.
Olumilua was governor of the state between January 1992 to November 1993.
Olumilua won as the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and served for a year before General Sanni Abacha seized power.
He was the Chancellor of the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, before his death.
