Ex-Presidential Aide Offers Business Advice: Learn From The Fulani

A Special Assistant to Former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has urged his social media followers to learn from the Fulani animal husbandry, adding that it can help them grow their finances.

He made this known on Thursday in a tweet.

Animal husbandry is the branch of agriculture concerned with animals that are raised for meat, fibre, milk, eggs, or other products, which includes day-to-day care, selective breeding and the raising of livestock.

Omokri said that prosperity is certain if people don’t eat their capital, just as the Fulanis don’t eat their cow but drink the milk from it.

He stressed that people should find ways to grow their capital thereby making profit from it.

The Fulani and Maasai keep cows, but never eat them. Rather, they drink milk from the cow. Learn from them. Your money is your cow. Use it as capital. Invest it. Your profit or dividend is your milk. That, you may drink. But never kill your cow! #FreeLeahSharibu #RenosNuggets

The Fulani are traditionally  nomadic pastoralists who herd cattle, goats and sheep.

In countries like Nigeria, Cameroon, and Burkina Faso, meat supplies are largely dependent on them.
