Fani-Kayode Prays For Abba Kyari

Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has sympathized with President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, following news that he had tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19) on Tuesday.

Fani-Kayode also sympathized with Bauchi State Governor, Balla Mohammed, and a son of former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, who were also diagnosed with the virus.

The former minister prayed for their speedy recovery, while also praying to God to deliver the country from the scourge of COVID-19.

He wrote on his Instagram, “I just confirmed that my old friend and brother Mallam Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, has tested positive to Covid 19. This is sad news.

“Abba was my colleague at Cambridge University in the mid-1980’s and he was a partner in my father’s law firm, Fani-Kayode and Sowemimo, for many years.

“We may not agree politically but I sincerely and honestly wish him well and pray for a quick recovery for him just as I do for all other Nigerians that have tested positive, including Vice President Abubakar Atiku’s son.
