Fayemi Recovers From COVID-19 After 11 Days In Isolation
Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has recovered from coronavirus after 11 days of self-isolating.
The governor announced this on his Twitter handle on Saturday morning.

He said the result of his confirmatory tests came back negative and was pronunced free of the virus.
Fayemi, who is also the Chairman of Governors’ Forum expressed gratitude to God, his family, medical team as well as his well wishers.
The tweet read, “After 11 days in isolation, I received news that my COVID 19 repeat test came back negative.
“My sincere gratitude goes to God Almighty, my family, my medical team and all well wishers for the prayers and solidarity. We must continue to do all we can to tackle the pandemic. JKF.”

Recall that the Attorney General and commissioner for Justice in the state,Wale Fapohunda and some members of Fayemi’s cabinet had also tested positive for coronavirus shortly after the governor announced his status.
