Fear Grips Presidency Staff Over Death Of Two Aides

There is apprehension in Aso Rock over the deaths of two principle aides, Ayoleke O. Adu, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Economic Matters, and Mr Justin Onuorah Abuah, Director of Information, State House.

Adu died a fortnight ago after a brief illness. Also, Mr. Abuah reportedly died on Sunday, August 14 after a brief illness too.

The Whistler learnt that the deaths have sent Aso Rock staff into panic mood as most of them have expressed fears over possible “juju.”

This newspaper gathered that some of the staff were uncomfortable over the development and have taken to “intense prayers to wade off the spirit of death,” a source who asked not to be named said.

Adu passed away at the 44. Adu, and was described as “a diligent economic professional and Certified Financial Analyst, CFA.”

Until his appointment, he was Chief Executive Officer of Morgan Capital Securities Ltd, and was a member of the President’s Economic Management Team and a presidential aide deployed to the Office of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

On the other hand, Mr. Abuah died at the age of 59.

A native of Asaba, Oshimili South Local Government Area, Delta State, he is survived by his wife, Loretta and three children (Chinedum, Chike and Amaechi).
