Fires Razes OAU Mortuary

The morgue of Anatomy Department of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, caught fire in the early hours of Tuesday, which got 10 dead bodies completely burnt.

The punch online reports that the spokesperson for Osun Police Command, Folasade Odoro, confirmed the incident.

According to her, the incident took place very early in the morning on Tuesday, leaving ten bodies burnt. She said that the police is probing the matter so as to find out what led to the fire accident.

THE WHISTLER reports that a similar case occurred on Saturday, December 29, 2018, in Anambra state at the Ukwu General Hospital.

At the hospital, there was a fire outbreak which got close to 50 corpse badly burnt.
