Gov. Ganduje Loses Mother

It was gathered that Hajiya Fadimatu Umaru Ganduje died at about 7am on Friday morning, in Kano State.

Alhaji Sama’ila Umar, the Madakin Ganduje, who made the announcement said her late mother was aged 95.

The deceased is survived by six children among whom are Alhaji Sama’ila Umar, the Madaki of Ganduje, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Gov. of Kano State and Alhaji Hussaini Umar Ganduje, the Executive Secretary of Kano State Teachers Board among others.

She will be buried at Ganduje town by 2.00pm after Friday prayers. May the Al-Jannatul Firdausi be her final abode.
