Gunmen Abduct Oyo APC Youth Leader’s Wife In Ibadan

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted the wife of the Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Dr Aderiyike Oni-Salawu.

Oni-Salawu was said to have been kidnapped around 10pm on Sunday at Aromolaran area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The woman was said to be driving an ambulance and was going home after closing from work when the gunmen struck.

The husband was also said to be driving a car coming behind the victim and on getting to the gate of their residence, the wife alighted and was about to open the gate when the hoodlums reportedly swooped on her and whisked her away.

The husband, Isiaka, was said to have escaped from the hoodlums.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Adewale Osifeso, did not pick calls to his telephone by our correspondent on the matter.
