Gunmen Kidnap Many On Kaduna-Abuja Highway – Shehu Sani
A former Senate Committee Chairman on Local and Foreign Debts, Senator Shehu Sani, has said many people were on Thursday morning kidnapped by gunmen on the Kaduna-Abuja Highway.
The former senator, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the Senate said this on his Twitter handle on Thursday.

Sani said the people were in a serious problem because COVID-19 had stopped them from traveling by train while insecurity was also preventing them from traveling by road.
The tweet reads, ” While Kaduna-Abuja train has been halted because of coronavirus,it’s tragic and sad to hear that many people have been kidnapped in the early hours of today ( Thursday) along that road by armed men.
“We can’t move by rail because of health concerns and now we can’t also move by road because of insecurity.”
Recall that the road is notorious for kidnapping, armed robbery and other forms of criminal activities.
