Herdsmen Launch Fresh Attack in Benue, Kill 10

No fewer than 10 persons have been reportedly killed as suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked some communities in Saghev, Guma local government area of Benue state.

The Cable reports that the attackers invaded the community on Friday night, burnt down houses and shops, with residents fleeing for their lives.

Confirming the incident, Terver Akase, chief press secretary to the state governor, said the attackers raided the communities through the night.
