I Have ‘Zero Regard’ For COVID-19 – Bishop Oyedepo

The founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, on Wednesday, said he has “zero regard” for the dreaded coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that has killed at least 1.56 million people globally.

Oyedepo stated this during the day two “night of encounters” at the ongoing Shiloh 2020 programme, which was monitored by THE WHISTLER.

The Shiloh 2020 programme has been themed “Turnaround Encounters”.

According to Oyedepo, whether or not Covid-19 exists depends on the individual beliefs of the people.

The cleric was delivering a sermon titled “Engaging the master key to a world of Supernatural Turnaround” when he made the declaration.

“I have zero regard for Covid-19… Somebody has a temperature and then he has Covid-19. [That means] everybody here has Covid-19.

“You have malaria and they say you have Covid-19. All the symptoms so said, are common things that happen day in, day out. You sneeze, they say you have Covid-19.

“I’ve never seen an entire world so fooled like this season….I’m a responsible citizen of this earth with millions followers [who] are being blessed,” said Oyedepo.

Meanwhile, after several weeks of recording relatively low Covid-19 numbers, Nigeria has returned to recording high Covid-19 cases in the range of 300 and 550 in the last one week.

Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory have remained the top two locations where the infections are being recorded.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has advised that in order to prevent a second wave of the virus in the country, residents must limit non-essential travel to and fro high-risk countries and also ensure they limit person-to-person contacts, amongst other safety measures.
