Ikpeazu Extends Abia Curfew Till Friday

Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has extended the three days curfew imposed on Aba the commercial hub of the State till Friday.

Recall that the state governor was forced to declare a curfew on Tuesday following the clash that occurred between the Nigerian Army and the supporters of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

In a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Enyinnaya Appolos, Ikpeazu advised residents and visitors in the state to co-operate with security agents to ensure continued maintenance of the law and order within the commercial city.
