I’ll Stand By You Till The End, Fani Kayode Tells Fayose

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode has assured the Governor of Ekiti State that he will stand by him till the end even if he is the only one left in the country willing to do so.

He gave the assurance in an article he wrote titled, ‘Femi Fani-Kayode: Weep Not For Fayose, Weep For Nigeria,’ and posted on his twitter handle.

The former minister, who is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said it was shameful that “daylight robbery” took place during Saturday’s poll which crowned candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Kayode Fayemi, as winner of the election.

Fani Kayode noted that the Election is a test run for what will happen during the 2019 general elections.

He said those “laughing at Fayose and making jest of his misfortunes and his efforts to defend the true wishes and will of the Ekiti people will get their own at that time.”

“I say this because the beast that seeks to devour him and the people of Ekiti seeks to devour us all.

“For a measly 4000 naira they have traded in their liberty and freedom in return for the dictates, whims and caprices of a wicked group of heartless and cruel men who take their orders and directives from a dark, sinister and blood-filled cauldron of sorcery and voodoo and a malevolent and accursed tattered old broom,” he said.
