INEC Chairman Meets RECs To Review Presidential, NASS Elections

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, met on Thursday with the Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) to review the commission’s conduct of the 2019 presidential and National Assembly elections.

Yakubu met the RECs at the national headquarters of INEC in Abuja, where the officials relayed their experiences, challenges and lesson learnt during their conduct of the polls.

At the meeting, the Commission also discussed the preparations for the governorship, state house of assembly and Federal Capital Territory elections scheduled for March 9, 2019.
