Insecurity: Shehu Sani Condemns Kidnap Of JSS III Students By Gunmen In Kaduna, Calls For Prayers

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central in the Senate, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the kidnap of JSS 3 students by gunmen in Kaduna State.

Gunmen had on Monday, invaded Damba-Kasaya in Kunai Ward, Chikun Local Government Area of the state, where one person was reportedly killed.

Scores of people were said to have been kidnapped by the invaders. Among the victims were Junior Secondary School III (JSS 3) students.

The students were said to be preparing for the Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) before the gunmen stormed Prince Academy and took them away.

The gunmen were said to have arrived in the community on motorbikes about 8am.

Sani, while reacting to the incident on his twitter handle, condemned it.

He added that the incident attested to the level of “security paralysis” in the state.

According to him, the state, like others in the country, needs prayers and help in equal measure.

Recall that in 2014, over 200 school girls were kidnapped from a secondary school in Chibok, Borno State, by Boko Haram terrorists.

Also, in February 19, 2018, 110 school girls between the ages of 11-19 years were kidnapped by the terrorist sect from the Government Girls’ Science and Technical College (GGSTC) in Dapchi, Yobe State, North East Nigeria.
