Italy’s Coronavirus Death Toll Hits 2,158

Deaths arising from the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID) in Italy has hit 2,150 as of Monday, March 16.

The number of persons infect with the virus was said to have also risen to over 27,980.

The European country has also been tagged as the country worst-hit with COVID-19 after China.

Meanwhile, in the wake of the impact of the virus across the world, the governments of country’s around the world have stepped up restrictions on the movement into and out of their countries.

The move is aimed at reducing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has killed nearly 5,800 people with over 153,000 infected globally, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
