JUST IN: Buhari Honours House Invitation, Agrees To Brief Lawmakers On Nation’s Security
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila says that President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted to honor the request of the House of Representatives which resolved on Tuesday that the president be invited to explain the security situation of the country.
Channels Television reports that Gbajabiamila stressed that Buhari agreed to address the House, adding that the date will be made known soon.

Gbajabiamila also said that the president will address Nigerians through their representatives, Channels reported.
THE WHISTLER earlier reported that the House, on Tuesday, after deliberations, unanimously voted in favor of a motion seeking Buhari’s appearance regarding the killing of about 43 farmers in Borno on Saturday by terrorists.
The motion was moved by Rep. Satomi Ahmad (representing Jere Federal Constituency) as well as nine other lawmakers from Borno State.
