JUST IN: Court Remands Senator Ndume For Not Producing Maina

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the remand of Senator Ali Ndume (Borno South), for breaching bail terms regarding the embattled former chairman of the Pension Reformed Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, which includes producing the defendant in court.

Justice Okon Abang gave the order adding that the Senator would remain in prison until Maina shows up in court.

He also gave the option of selling off his property in Abuja which was used to secure Maina’s release.

THE WHISTLER earlier reported that Ndume had accepted to stand as Maina’s surety in the money laundering charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
