Kate Henshaw, Hilda Dokubo, Others Frown At Senator Elisha Abbo As Patron Of Actors Guild
Nollywood stars, Hilda Dokubo and Kate Henshaw have reacted to the fresh appointment of Adamawa-born senator, Elisha Abbo’s as the Patron of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
Abbo, who is the senator representing Adamawa north, was caught on camera physically assaulting a woman in a sex toy shop in July 2019.

In a video shared on Hilda tweeter handle, the veteran actress condemned the AGN’s decision to name the senator as its patron.
“When you appoint a patron, it is because the patron has something you want to gain and leverage on. It could be financial or moral gain,” she said in the video.
Sharing her views on the appointment, Henshaw tweeted her anger at the president of the guild, Emeka Rollas.

“Emeka Rollas, I cannot find your handle on Twitter, my name is Kate Henshaw and I do not mince words when I say @AbboElisha is not worthy to be a patron of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria…,” she wrote.
