THE WHISTLER earlier reported that the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja had upheld the decision of a Federal Capital Territory High Court, which had found Sanda guilty of stabbing her husband, Bello Bilyaminu, to death.

Sanda’s counsel had argued that his client was judged based on “circumstantial evidence”.

But Justice Steven Adah, who presided over the matter, dismissed it for lacking in merit.

Bilyaminu, a son of a former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Haliru Bello, was allegedly murdered in his Abuja residence.
