Massive Turnout As PDP Holds Presidential Rally In Sokoto [PHOTOS]

There was massive turnout of supporters on Monday at the venue of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) North-West zonal presidential campaign rally in Sokoto State.

The rally was held for the presidential standard bearer of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who will be running as President Muhammadu Buhari’s major contender in the 2019 election

The PDP North West campaign marks the inaugural phase of a series of presidential rallies to be held by the opposition party ahead of the election in February, 2019.

The campaign rally, which kicked off at about 10 a.m, took place at the Shehu Kangiwa Square in the state.

Among prominent members of the PDP who graced the rally were former president Goodluck Jonathan, former vice president Namadi Sambo, Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara.

Others are Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, Senator Dino Melaye, amongst others.
