Senior Special Adviser to the President, Femi Adesina, has taken a subtle swipe at “mischief makers’ who expressed pessimism on President Muhammadu Buhari’s health during his 49 days medical vacation.
Speaking in a short video posted on the Presidency’s Twitter handle on Friday, Adesina said the pessimists must have learnt their lessons following Buhari’s return.
According to him, there may be many devices in the hands of man but it is the counsel of the lord that shall stand.
He further thanked Nigerians who have invested their time in praying for President Buhari’s recovery.

President Buhari on Friday returned to the country after nearly two months medical vacation in the United Kingdom.
He embarked on a 10-day leave in January before extending it indefinitely, citing medical concerns as reason.
The move raised questions from different quarters on the true state of health of the President, with some believing he was incapacitated.
