Mother Of Yahaya Bello’s Chief of Staff Kidnapped In Kogi

Armed men have abducted the mother of Abdulkarim Asuku, the Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.

His mother, Seriya Raji, was abducted on Monday at her residence located at Inese/Ovakere New Layout in Nagazi community in Adavi Local Government Area of the state.

The assailants numbering about six reportedly invaded her home on Monday night, after her evening (Ishai) prayer in a mosque within the house.

The incident came over two weeks after gunmen attempted to kidnap the Kogi State Commissioner for Environment, Victor Omofaiye.

The incident which occurred around Ikoyi and Iyara, however, saw the commissioner escape with gunshot wounds.
