NGO Launches Documentary On Lagos Demolition Of Otodo Gbame (Warning Graphic)
A non-governmental organization, CEE Hope Nigeria, has presented a documentary on the demolition of Otodo Gbame by the Lagos State government.
The 17 minutes video titled: Otodo Gbame: Crushed – Demolitions Damaged Lagos Children, presents in graphic video the demolition of the riverine community to make way for upscale development for the rich and powerful.
It is reported that 32, 000 citizens were evicted forcefully, leading to untold stories of deaths, pain, suffering and deprivation for those affected by the exercise.
