‘Nigeria Not A Colony,’ Oshiomhole Knocks U.S, UK, EU

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has slammed the United State, United Kingdom and European Union for allegedly poking their nose in Nigeria’s affairs.

Oshiomhole said “Nigeria is not a colony” and “will not accept any foreign interference in the internal affairs” of the country.

According to Channels Television, Oshiomhole made the statement after President Muhammadu Buhari’s meeting with senators and senatorial candidates of the APC on Monday.

The APC Chairman was reacting to separate reactions of the U.S, UK, and EU to President Buhari’s suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Walter Onnoghen, over allegations of corruption last Friday.

The international community had expressed concerns and reservations to President Buhari’s action, warning that the move may affect credibility of the 2019 general elections.
