Nigeria Records More Than 1,320 Recoveries As NCDC Reports 288 New Covid-19 Cases

Coronavirus recoveries in Nigeria surpass the 1,000 mark to 1,320 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reports 288 new Covid-19 cases.

This brings the total number of cases in the country to 5,445.

As usual, Lagos maintained its top spot on the daily log with 179 new cases, this brings the total number of cases in the state to 2,099.

Neither Kano nor Abuja made the second spot on today’s update as kaduna , Katsina and Jigawa topped them with 20, 15 and 15 new cases each.

Kano recorded 8 new cases while Abuja got 7 new cases.

Cross River and Kogi are the only two states yet to record a single Covid-19 case

Meanwhile the total number of death cases stood at 171.
