NNPC Moves To Contain Lagos Pipeline Fire Outbreak

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has assured the general public that the pipeline in Baruwa Swamp area of Lagos will be put back into operation shortly.

The NNPC in a statement by its spokesperson, Samson Makoji, on Thursday, confirmed the fire outbreak said to have been caused by vandals and suspected oil thieves who had hacked into the line to scoop petrol.
