According to Leman, the tour which is expected to commence on Saturday will see journalists on the team inspecting the development strides of each of the state governors as well as an interactive session where the governors will answer critical questions.

“This tour is part of effort of the NUJ to deepen democracy and seeing firsthand what development strides are going on in each state of the federation.

“We expect that the journalists will be able to report based on what they find on ground to the people of the state and Nigerians at large.

“This is not a sort of test or examines rather to see how we can engage with the various state governments and set an appropriate agenda of development.”
