Oke Named New Acting Chief Justice Of Lagos

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has appointed Justice Opeyemi Oke as the new Acting Chief Judge of Lagos State.

Oke’s appointment follows the retirement of Justice Olufunmilayo Atilade who had just turned 65 years old.

Governor Ambode said judicial precedence of seniority on the bench was observed in Oke’s appointment.

He charged the new Acting Chief Justice on wisdom and integrity as she assumes the office.
