Omokri Wants ‘Ordinary President’ Ahmed Isah To Interview Buhari

Former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has suggested that Ahmed Isah, a human right broadcaster seen in viral videos slapping interviewees for not answering questions properly, be allowed to interview President Muhammadu Buhari.

Omokri’s call came after Buhari granted an exclusive interview to Arise Television on Thursday.

THE WHISTLER reported that Buhari had avoided some questions on critical national issues, such as devolution of powers, raised during the first interview.

Among other things, the president declined to comment on his administration’s ban on Twitter.

He also claimed that last year’s #EndSARs protests were targeted at removing him from office.

But Omokri believes that Isah was good at getting answers from interviewees and should be able to get the president to respond to questions appropriately.

“Buhari, who wants to speak to the SE in the language they understand, should also invite Ahmad Isah, of @BreketeConnect, to interview him in the language Buhari understands. After all, both Buhari and Ahmad speak and understand the same language!,” he stated on Friday.

Isah heads the Brekete Family Radio and Television program which is focused on protecting the rights of people and fighting injustice.

Recall that the National Broadcasting Commission had on May 27 suspended his station for 30 days following allegations of human right abuses.
