Omoni Oboli Launches Weekly Feeding Outreach

Beautiful Nigerian Actress, Omoni Oboli has launched a feeding outreach codenamed “Sister Lizzy’s Kitchen”.

Sister Lizzy’s Kitchen is an Omoni Oboli Foundation initiative which she said is in memory of her late mum (Elizabeth Oboli). The initiative aims to feed 500 children every week.

Oboli, who turned forty on Tuesday, spent her day with the children of Makoko where she launched the feeding outreach.

The outreach program fed over 1200 kids and it was said to be a huge success.

Omoni Oboli is a Nigeria Actress, scriptwriter, director, producer and a trained digital filmmaker at the New York Film Academy. She is also a writer, with a number of screenplays to her credit, including Fatal Imagination, Being Mrs Elliott, The First Lady, and Wives on Strike.

In 2010, she won the award for Best Actress Narrative Feature at the Los Angeles Movie Awards, and the award for Best Actress at the Harlem International Film Festival.

Omoni was nominated for the Best Actress in a leading role award at the 2011 African Music Academic Awards.

In 2014, she won Big Screen Actress of the Year award at the 2014 ELOY Awards for her movie ‘Being Mrs Elliott’ and she was awarded the Sun Nollywood Personality of the Year 2015.
