She was escorting the school bus which picks pupils from their various residences on Thursday when some armed men on motorcycles reportedly ambushed the bus.

The school principal, Bolatito Akindemowo, who confirmed her release, said Ojo was the only abducted person in the attack.

Speaking after her release, Ojo narrated that the attackers had threatened to kill her if she failed to cooperate with them but was later released around a bush at Ilara Mokin in Ifedore LGA of the state.

She, however, gave no further information as to why she was released almost immediately, and the fate of the school bus driver.
