Police Council Confirms Mohammed Adamu’s Appointment As IGP

The Police Council has confirmed the appointment of Mohammed Adamu as the Inspector General of Police.

The confirmation was made at the council meeting which was presided by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential villa.

Recall that Adamu was appointed as acting IGP on the 15th January this year by President Buhari.

His appointment makes him the 20th Inspector General of Police of the country.
