Police Hold Training Exercise In Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have said it will hold a simulation training exercise in the Jabi Lake Area of Abuja on Wednesday.

This was mentioned in a statement signed by the command’s public relations officer Anjuguri Manzah, in Abuja on Tuesday.

Manzah, however, urged residents not to panic when they notice the mass movement of security agents and heavy equipment to Jabi area of FCT.

The exercise is aimed at fostering synergy among security agencies and to test their preparedness to respond to emergencies. It will last between the hours of 5.00am to 11.00am.

“We wish to notify the general public that there will be a simulation training exercise in the Jabi Lake Area of Abuja on Wednesday, 5th December 2018. Shoprite and other Shops at the Mall will be closed for the duration of the exercise.

“Please do not panic, but avoid the area to prevent delays to your journey. We thank the public for their patience,” the statement read.
