Prayer Walk In Osogbo As Christian Groups Hold Procession For Peace

Various Christian denominations in Osogbo, Osun State capital took to the street on Saturday carrying placards with inscriptions calling for peace in Nigeria as they embark on a prayer walk.

Images and videos on the internet show religious groups take peaceful walk, praying and calling for a better Nigeria.

THE WHISTLER observed that the prayer walk was held simultaneously by various denominations, including those in compulsory white coverings.

The nationwide EndSARs protest which kicked off on October 7, is aimed at ending police brutality in the country, amongst other demands.

The protest has continued to gain momentum as the day goes by.

Religious groups, however, have also been praying for divine intervention.
