Mallam Wazirin Fika, CFR, has been described as an exemplary husband as well as a distinguished civil servant. A native of Fika, Yobe State, he is an elder statesman and an epitome of what the nation’s civil service should look like.

He is the first and only Nigeria’s Head of Service to resign because he was not comfortable being at the helm of affairs when he perceived the civil service was being destroyed by corruption.

Hajia Khadija is survived by five children – two sons and three daughters.
