Reno Omokri Gives Widow ‘Wisdom’ Instead Of N1,000 She Asked For To Feed Children

A supposed Nigerian widow has received ‘wisdom’ instead of N1,000 she begged Reno Omokri for to feed her children.

Omokri, a former presidential aide and Amazon bestselling author, shared a comment the supposed widow left on his Instagram page, where she claimed four of her kids had not eaten since morning.

The Instagram user (@official_fashionistamum), who also claimed to be a fashion designer, said her sewing machine was faulty hence she could not take jobs to fend for her family.

“@renoomokri Good day sir, please am extremely very sorry sir. Sir am a widow with 4 kids my kids haven’t eaten since morning. Am a fashion designer but my sewing machine is faulty. Please sir help us with 1,000 to eat please sir,” the Instagram user wrote.

But responding, Omokri offered to give the supposed widow “WISDOM” instead of the N1,000, saying “If I give you N1k, you will be hungry again by tomorrow.”

He said, “Let me give you WISDOM instead. Sell the phone you used to post this message and buy a return railway ticket to Kano. When you get there, buy bags of ONIONS.

“When you return to your destination (which is on your profile), contact me and I will buy every bag of ONION from you at a profit for use at the orphanage God helped me to build in Benin (just slide into my comments section with this your current handle).

“A bag of ONION in Kano is sold at ₦10k. That is more than double the price in Lagos (₦25k). A return train ticket from Lagos to Kano is ₦6k. If you keep at it, you will be a millionaire in a year’s time. God bless you!” he said.

But after Omokri posted a screenshot of her message and Instagram handle on his page, the supposed widow quickly vacated the handle which previously had photos of different women posing various clothing designs.

The Instagram user appears to be using the photo-sharing platform to solicit alms from different people.
