Reps Swear In 12 New Members After Saturday’s By-Election
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, on Thursday swore in 12 lawmakers who emerged victorious after February 3 bye-elections in different states.
Following their victories at the poll, the following lawmakers took oath of office during the plenary.
- Umar Garba (Ngaski/Shanta/Yauri Federal cinstituency of Kebbi state-APC)
- Ifeoluwa Ehindero (AKoko North East/North West of Ondo states-APC)
- Faud Kayode Laguna (Suru Lere 1 federal constituency of Lagos state- APC)
- Saleh Gabriel Zock (Kachia/Kangaroo federal constituency of Kaduna state-APC).
- Daniel Asama Ago (Jos North/Bases federal constituency of Plateau state-LP)
- Rabiu Kamba (Arewa/Dandi federal constituency of Kebbi state- APC)
- EMMA Ukpong Udo (Ikono/Ini federal constituency of Akwa Ibom state-YPP)
- Dr. Emil Inyang (Akamkpa/Biase Federal constituency of ross River State- APC).
- Peter Uzokwe (Nnewi North/Nnewi South federal constituency of Anambra state-YPP)
- Chinwe Nnabuife Orumba North/Orumba South federal constituency of (Anambra- YPP),
- Adamu Yakubu (Birnin Kudu/Buji federal constituency of Jigawa state-PDP),
- Yusuf Umar Yabo (Yabo/Shagari federal constituency of Sokoto state-PDP)
- Husseini Jallo (Igabi Federal. Constituency of Kaduna state-PDP).
- Yusuf Dalhat Tafoki (Faskari/Kankara/Sabuwa of Katsina state- APC),
- Mohammed Buba Jajere (Fune/Fune federal constituency of Yobe state-PDP)
However, only 12 lawmakers were present at the time of swearing in.
