Senator Bayo Osinowo Did Not Die In Our Hospital – First Cardiovascular Consultants

The First Cardiovascular Consultants Hospital, Lagos, has refuted reports that Senator Bayo Osinowo died in its facility.

There had been reports that Osinowo, who represented Lagos East Senatorial District, died at the hospital from complications related to Coronavirus (COVID-19).

But the First Cardiovascular Consultants reacted angrily to the reports, saying not all deaths of VIPs “who had COVID-19” occur at its hospital.

The management of the hospital said in a statement on Tuesday: “Ordinarily, hospitals should not have to brag about how many critically ill lives they save, just as death from critical illness may be due to the severity of the disease itself regardless of the skills and technology deployed to manage it

“We wish to go on record that Senator Bayo Osinowo who unfortunately died yesterday, who on social media was claimed to have died at our hospital never stepped into our hospital and has no records here at First Cardiology Consultants Hospital,”

The First Cardiovascular Consultants added that its hospital, “is the first hospital to be certified for High Intensity Critical care (Level 3) for COVID patients. We are actually the final referral centre for the sickest patients who cannot be managed anywhere else.”
