SHOCKING! 75-Year-Old Woman Hid Husband’s Corpse In Freezer For 11 Years

South Lake City Police Department (SLCPD) in the United States has reportedly found the body of a man in the freezer in his home.

The body of 69-year-old  Paul Edwards Mathers is suspected to have been kept in the freezer for about 11 years by his wife, Jeanne Souron-Mathers.

The man’s body was discovered after the death of  75-year-old Souron-Mathers.

The remains of the couple were found during a welfare check on the old woman who had not been seen in about two weeks by a building maintenance worker.

The woman was found dead in her bed and the Utah police do not think her death is suspicious.

The body in the freezer was identified as that of her husband, according to local media reports.

Sgt Jeremy Hansen told reporters that the body was found completely intact in a chest freezer inside the apartment.

Detectives do not yet know how he died or if his wife was involved in his death, but suspect foul play, reports the Associated Press.

The police said  Mathers’ body could have been in the freezer for about 11 years, based on when residents in the apartment complex last saw him.

However the autopsy conducted did not narrow down that time frame, Hansen said.

Hansen told local media that there was “no visible trauma” on the woman’s body but both remains were sent to the medical examiner to determine how her husband died.

Souron-Mathers lived in the apartment since 2007 in the city of Tooele, which is located about 25 miles west of Salt Lake City.
