2019 Presidency: Buhari ‘Fit, Good To Go’ – Garba Shehu

Presidential spokesperson, Mallam Garba Shehu, has declared President Muhammadu Buhari fit enough to seek re-election in 2019.

Shuhu, who is the Special Assistant to the president on Media and Publicity, made the declaration on Monday while fielding questions from newsmen.

“If you ask that question; is he good enough, is he fit enough? I can tell you the president is very well and good enough to go,” he said.

On his part, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said only the president can determine if he would run or not.

“The president is the one who answer that question, and a time will come when an answer must come,” he said.

The subject on whether or not President Buhari would contest in 2019 due to his health status has been widely debated.
