There was chaos today at the House of Representatives after a member proposed a motion demanding the investigation of the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, for allegedly padding the 2016 budget.
The motion followed an earlier motion which called for the suspension of Dogara, to allow the Ethics Committee investigate the allegation and to investigate the former House Committee Chairman on Appropriation, Jibrin Abdulmumuni, for allegedly heaping corruption allegation on the entire House and the Speaker.
