Buhari Holds FEC At Night

Almost a month after President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated the Federal Executive Council (FEC), on November 11, the second FEC meeting, an emergency one, is holding at night at the Presidential Villa to consider the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF), ahead of the final preparation of the 2016 Appropriation Bill.

Minister of Budget and National Planning Senator Udoma Udo Udoma, who had briefed State House Correspondents, disclosed that his ministry would this week approach council to seek for approval of the MTEF.

Our correspondent learnt that the late night meeting is as result of Buhari’s busy schedule. The president was at the Yar’Adua Memorial Center earlier in the day to grace the book launch of the Minister of Science and Tech, Ogbonnaya Onu, From Opposition Party To Governing Party: The Story of APC Merger.
