Hillary Clinton is “fit to serve” as President of the United States of America, the US presidential candidates’ doctor, Lisa Bardack declared on Wednesday.

This is coming few days after the former Secretary of State was forced to leave a 9/11 ceremony in New York after a pneumonia attack.

According to a health bulletin released by Doctor Bardack, Mrs. Clinton was recuperating from a diagnosis of “mild, non-contagious” pneumonia and will return to the campaign trail on Thursday with appearances in North Carolina and Washington, as she continues her race to the White House.

She “is recovering well with antibiotics and rest” after being laid low over the weekend, when she suffered from fatigue and a low-grade fever, although her vital signs remained normal, Bardack said.

The Democratic White House nominee “continues to remain healthy and fit to serve as president of the United States,” she wrote, noting she is in “excellent mental condition.”

The 68-year-old was seen carried by Secret Service officers into a vehicle on Sunday as she stumbled at the 9/11 remembrance ceremony.

After several hours her personal physician confirmed she been diagnosed with pneumonia two days earlier – a report which raised concerns about the transparency of her campaign.

There has been increased pressure on Clinton to share more health details before returning to the campaign trail on Thursday.
