Kogi Speaker, Lawal Impeached
The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Momoh Jimoh Lawal, was on Tuesday, impeached from office.
According to Vanguard, the Majority Leader, Kolawole Matthew, Deputy Speaker, Alih Ajuh was also impeached.

The new Majority Leader of the House, Friday Sani, while speaking with newsmen, said Lawal was impeached because he was running the House like a sole proprietor.
