Nigerians have greeted the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari into the country with somewhat mixed reactions.
President Buhari returned home Friday morning after nearly two months of medical leave in the United Kingdom.
He landed at the Kaduna International Airport at about 7:14am and flew to Abuja in a helicopter.
He was received by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, senior government officials, service chiefs and some APC chieftains at Aso Rock.
Nigerians, on hearing the news of his return, took to Twitter to welcome him, while others seemed not so excited at a time when things allegedly seems to be getting better under Acting President Osinbajo’s leadership.
See the reactions:
President Buhari should resign and retire to his countryhome. He is old and looks very weak. #Nigeria
