New Harry Potter Books Out In October- Bloomsbury

The publishers of Harry Potter, Bloomsbury have announced the release of 2 new books at the ‘History of Magic’ book exhibition in October.

The intended release will be in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the first ever edition of the book, Harry and Philosopher’s Stone, which launched the successful franchise that includes nine films, multiple books, and a theatre production.

The publisher’s business statement, obtained by Business Insider read, “[Harry Potter: A History of Magic – The Book of The Exhibition] will be packed with unseen sketches and manuscript pages from J.K. Rowling, magical illustrations from Jim Kay and weird, wonderful and inspiring artifacts that have been magically released from the archives at the British Library.

“While [Harry Potter: A Journey Through A History of Magic] promises to take readers on a fascinating journey through the subjects studied at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry – from Alchemy and Potions classes through to Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures.”

The exhibition is expected to run until February 2018 and will explore the entirety of the history of magic and the subjects studied.

Bloomsbury released four new editions of the book, earlier this year, to celebrate The Boy Who Lived’s 20th anniversary.

The covers featured the crest for each house and inside are fact files, character profiles and illustrations.
