Orji Kalu Tells Obiano, You Can’t Continue To Run Anambra Like ‘Beer Parlour’

Ex-Abia Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, has told Governor Willie Obiano that he can’t continue to run Anambra State like a “beer parlour”.

Kalu, according to SUN, made the statement at a rally of the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Tony Nwoye, in Ufuma, Orumba North Local Government Area of the state.

At the rally which precedes the November 18 gubernatorial election, the former governor said the people of Anambra cannot afford another mistake of voting Governor Obiano.

“I performed very well as a governor in Abia State because I was young then, and now the people of Anambra must vote a young man for the state to move forward,’’ Kalu was quoted as saying.

Continuing, the former governor challenged the people of Anambra to vote Nwoye as a way of correcting their previous mistake.

In his remark, Nwoye thanked Kalu and the people of Orumba North for their support and belief in him.

On his part, Hon. Emeka Ibe, the State Chairman of APC in Anambra, assured the governorship aspirant of their firm support.

Ibe said Governor Obiano had made the task easy for Nwoye by failing to carry out a single project in Orumba since he got elected.
